Morgan Wallen defends Taylor Swift amid fan boos at concert

Morgan Wallen received a strong reaction from fans for his light-hearted comment about Taylor Swift.

During his show at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Wallen revealed to his fans that they had made history by achieving the highest-ever attendance for a concert at the venue, a feat accomplished over two consecutive nights.

“They told me right before I walked on stage that this is the single most-attended concert in the history of this building, and that we are the first people to do that two nights in a row,” he said.

In a moment of jest, he added, “I’m going to say that until Taylor Swift comes to town in the fall.”

The mention of Swift’s name, however, sparked an unexpected wave of boos from the crowd.

Wallen swiftly addressed the situation, urging his fans not to boo, he said, “We ain’t got to boo, we ain’t got to boo.”

This exchange went viral on social media, where fans of both Wallen and Swift praised the country singer for his classy handling of the situation.
