Usher finally addressed Justin Bieber’s absence from the star-studded Super Bowl halftime show.

As reported by People, the musician shared there are no ill feelings towards the Baby singer during an interview with The Breakfast Club.

He said, “I honor and recognize that my brother, you know, he — I think that it might’ve been the fact that he’s just wanting to tell a different story right now, and I understand that.”

“But we did have a brief conversation, and we’re gonna do something else in the future. No love lost or anything like that,” the Hey Daddy singer added.

The 45-year-old singer revealed he has “reached out to everybody” to join him on the stage. However, Usher believes there is a “lot of pressure” on the performers on such big platforms.

Moreover, the Standing Next to You singer hinted at Bieber’s possible performance in the next year’s game of the NFL.

“He’s gonna play the Super Bowl. I’ll go ahead and give you that — in the future. I profess that over his life. It’s time, because he has a career that deserves it. But it just didn’t happen, but that doesn’t mean it’s not going to,” Usher said.
